WHERE TO PLAY

Long Beach Public Beach, Simon’s Town – A quick stroll down the road from Fynbos. There are never waves as it is in a cove so always calm for a quick dip.

Glencairn Beach & Tidal Pool – Awesome beach to catch some waves without travelling very far! There is also a lovely tidal pool to relax in, should the waves be too big for you. Great for windsurfers & kite-surfers!

Cape Point National Park – Located at the very tip of the Cape Peninsula, the park is a declared World Heritage site, as part of the diverse Cape Floral region. The nature reserve boasts some game and wildlife as well as many hiking trails. Take a picnic basket along. Please be aware of the baboons in the park.

Boulders Beach, Simon’s Town – A spectacular experience to see the African penguins. You can go into the actual park at a fee, or walk Willis Walk for free, which takes you from the one entrance to the other. You will see penguins along this walk. Not only is the view stunning, the beaches wide and beautiful, and the Penguins super cute to spy on, there are plenty of little restaurants and shops to enjoy nearby too.
